RIVERS KNOW THIS: THERE IS NO HURRY. WE SHALL GET THERE SOME DAY. ~ WINNIE THE POOH
It has been an incredibly long and difficult 8 months. We’ve all learned a lot, including a lot of new terminology in that time - flood zone, flood plain and flood fringe. Many of us are driving new cars even though some of us may not be home yet. We recognize fellow High Riverites when vehicles stop in the middle of traffic and drivers jump out to hug one another. We know what size disposable gloves we wear and which church is hosting the next supper. We’ve conducted business from garages, tents, Sprung structures and from the trunks of cars.
We all know where we were on June 20, 2013 and we all go a little crazy when it rains. We know who we are. We’re High River Strong! Thanks to the kindness and efforts of many people, we’ve managed to stay afloat (pardon the pun).
Join us in the spirit of community as we celebrate the re-opening of Evanescence Gallery on March 8th.
