Four Women Receive Alberta Craft Awards
The Alberta Craft Awards recently honoured four women who have made significant contributions to the province's fine craft.
The winners, chosen from among 15 nominees, were:
- Early Achievement Award: Allison Tunis (Edmonton) textile / embroidery
- Excellence Award: Linda Chow (Calgary) jeweller and metalsmith
- Linda Stanier and Family Memorial Award for Excellence in Ceramics: Dawn Candy (Red Deer) ceramics
- Tom McFall Honour Award: Jennifer Salahub (Calgary) craft historian
