Two Fundraisers Appointed at Vancouver Art Gallery
The Vancouver Art Gallery has hired two new fundraisers. Together, Elain Evans and Brynn Myers bring more than 50 years of fundraising, arts management and not-for-profit experience to the gallery.
Evans will oversee the gallery’s capital campaign for the gallery's proposed new building, while Myers will lead its annual campaign for exhibitions, public programs and other key initiatives, including the Institute of Asian Art.
Evans has a management role with the University of British Columbia, and most recently was the executive director of advancement with Collingwood School, an independent institution in West Vancouver.
Myers has held positions at various organizations, including Ballet BC, the Canadian Centre for Architecture, the New York City Ballet and the Solomon R. Guggenheim Museum.
