Galleries West is a finalist for five Alberta Magazine Awards – including a nomination in the digital presence category for its website, which won silver last year.
The awards, organized by the Alberta Magazine Publishers Association, honour outstanding work by magazine writers and visual creators.
Winners will be announced May 11.
The Galleries West finalists are:
Sara Swan, essay, for You Want it Darker.
Sara Swan, feature writing short, for Jerry Saltz: Art is Life.
Shazia Hafiz Ramji, emerging writer, for Gailan Ngan.
Mark Mushet, digital presence, for Vilhelm Sundin.
Tom Tait and Portia Priegert, digital presence, for the Galleries West website.
