Glenn Alteen Retires from Grunt Gallery
The grunt gallery's program director, Glenn Alteen, will retire in 2020, after working with the Vancouver artist-run centre since it was established in 1984.
The gallery's board and staff have begun planning for a year-long succession process, including the hiring of a new program director.
The job call can be found on the gallery’s website at https://grunt.ca/.
Grunt built its reputation on innovative programming, especially work by contemporary Canadian and international artists that would otherwise not be seen in Vancouver.
The gallery's emerging programs include the Blue Cabin Residency and the Mount Pleasant Community Art Screen.
