Hilary Letwin has been appointed as administrator and curator of the West Vancouver Art Museum.
Letwin, who holds a PhD in art history from John Hopkins University in Baltimore, was hired as assistant curator in 2018, and has been filling the role in an acting capacity since the retirement of Darrin Morrison last July.
She has also worked as collections assistant at the Burnaby Art Gallery and curatorial assistant at the Richmond Art Gallery.
Her current exhibition, Cornelia Hahn Oberlander: Genius Loci, a partnership with the Art Gallery of Alberta in Edmonton, opened at the West Vancouver Art Museum on Jan. 20.
