The Suncor Energy Foundation is giving the Banff Centre $10 million to support leadership programs over the next five years.

“We believe the leaders of today and tomorrow need to be values driven and have a strong sense of culture and community not only to survive, but to thrive,” said Janice Price, CEO of the Banff Centre.

“This transformational gift from the Suncor Energy Foundation will empower the next generation of leaders to move communities forward, and help them navigate a wide spectrum of social, economic and environmental conditions that are becoming more complex in today’s society.” 

The funding will support Indigenous leadership and social impact and social innovation programs.
