The Kamloops Art Gallery was thrilled with the response to the Jann LM Bailey Legacy Fund campaign. It was launched to remember Jann and her contribution to the arts in Kamloops and in Canada.

In memory of the former Executive Director Jann LM Bailey, the Gallery worked over the summer to raise funds to acknowledge the first anniversary of her passing and honour her 28 years with the Gallery. Friends, colleagues and KAG supporters made donations in Jann’s memory that saw the Gallery achieve and surpass the $28,000 goal; one thousand dollars for each year Jann  worked at the Kamloops Art Gallery.

All donations in memory of Jann have gone toward a fund to be held in trust with the BC Interior Community Foundation; another community organization which mattered greatly to Jann. Interest on this fund will support programming for youth and children in perpetuity.
