Calgary artist Katie Ohe has been selected as a recipient of the Alberta Order of Excellence, the highest honour the province can bestow on a citizen who has made an outstanding contribution.
The Alberta Order of Excellence is about more than simply doing one’s job well. It recognizes Albertans who have made a difference, who have served Albertans with excellence and distinction, and whose contributions will stand the test of time.
Ohe joins seven other Albertans who will join the order this year. The investiture ceremony will be held Oct. 17 in Edmonton.
The latest appointments will bring the total membership of the Alberta Order of Excellence to 181.
