Entries for the Kingston Prize Canadian Portrait Competition closed on April 26 with 461 entries from across the country. 

The 30 finalists will be announced by early July.

The jurors are Catharine Mastin, executive director of the Art Gallery of Windsor; Sarah Milroy, chief curator of the McMichael; and Phil Richards, a Toronto artist.
