Kristen Camper to Head Textile Museum of Canada
Kristen Kamper will be the next director and CEO of the Textile Museum of Canada in Toronto.
She is currently vice-president of operations and campaign at the Royal Ontario Museum Foundation.
Kemper worked previously at the Professional Association of Canadian Theatres and the Power Plant Contemporary Art Gallery.
Kamper, who starts her new post on May 2, has 23 years of experience in strategic planning, operations, communications, fundraising and donor engagement, and is committed to diversity, the museum said in its announcement.
"She is known to be a big-picture, strategic thinker, who is results-oriented, fair and transparent," it said. "She is recognized as a clear communicator with a proven track record of creating relevant institutional and partnership programming opportunities and developing sustainable philanthropic investments and strategies."
Emma Quin, the departing director and CEO, is moving on to new work in the private sector.
