Darrin Martens

Darrin J. Martens has taken up a new post as CEO and director of the Galt Museum and Archives in Lethbridge, Alta.

Martens has worked at various institutions, including the MacKenzie Art Gallery in Regina, the Vancouver Art Gallery, the Audain Art Museum in Whistler, B.C., and the Peel Art Gallery, Museum and Archives in Brampton, Ont.

Over a 25-year career he has organized more than 50 exhibitions, including major retrospectives on the work of Beau Dick, Takao Tanabe and Gordon Smith.
