The Museum of Contemporary Art Calgary (MOCA) announced today that it will remain closed until September due to the recent flooding. While this will impact all planned summer exhibitions and programs, MOCA is expected to be fully operational for an exciting new series of exhibitions and programs that will be open to the public in September.
“It’s definitely disappointing that we aren’t able to open sooner, but we’re a resilient bunch and there’s a silver lining to every cloud,” said Jeffrey Spalding, MOCA’s Artistic Director. “We’re really looking forward to September and I’m positive it will be something Calgarians will really connect with.”
Further details outlining the fall exhibition schedule and public event highlights will be released in the coming weeks.
