Abstract painter and muralist Michelle Hoogveld has teamed up with Hyba Activewear on a limited-edition clothing collection. The five-piece collection, which features Hoogveld's bold geometric patterns and hearts, is for sale in Canada at Reitmans. Born in Calgary, Hoogveld now calls Montreal home, where her large-scale 14-storey mural, Dazzle My Heart, can be seen on the exterior of Le Germain Hotel Montreal. Her work has been shown around the world, including the Calgary International Airport, Calgary's BUMP Mural Festival, Art Basel in Miami and the Pow! Wow! international mural arts festival in Hawaii. She studied visual communication and design at Lynn University in Florida and holds a Bachelor of Education in Art Education from the University of British Columbia.
