Christina Cuthbertson

Christina Cuthbertson is the new executive director of the Leighton Art Centre near Calgary. 

Cuthbertson is an independent curator and writer who has consulted on public art projects with the city of Lethbridge. She worked at the Southern Alberta Art Gallery until 2017, most recently as interim curator. 

Her exhibition texts have been used by Trianon Gallery in Lethbridge, as well as artist-run centres like Latitude 53 in Edmonton and OBORO in Montreal.

Cuthbertson has done curatorial residencies at the Banff Centre for the Arts and the International Studio and Curatorial Program in Brooklyn, New York. She has also written for Galleries West magazine.
