Julia Prudhomme

Julia Prudhomme is the new executive director of the Oxygen Art Centre, an artist-run gallery in Nelson, B.C. 

Prudhomme, who worked as the curator of the Campbell River Public Art Gallery on Vancouver Island for three years, is in her third year of doctoral studies in the communications, new media and cultural studies program at McMaster University in Hamilton, Ont.

She holds a Masters degree in fine arts from the University of British Columbia and a Bachelor degree in visual arts from Brock University in St. Catharines, Ont.

She replaces Genevieve Robertson, Oxygen's outgoing executive director.
