New Director for Red Deer Museum and Art Gallery
Chandra Kastern
Chandra Kastern is the new operations director at the Red Deer Museum and Art Gallery in central Alberta.
Kastern, originally from Thunder Bay, Ont., says she will work to build revenues, bolster community engagement and, eventually, look for ways to increase the facility's exhibition space.
She comes from a self-employed business background and has worked in policy development, management and advocacy with government and non-profits.
After moving to Red Deer in 2005, she became executive director of the Red Deer Symphony Orchestra.
