Jeff Brinton
Jeff Brinton has accepted the position of Executive Director of the Arts Branch and the Alberta Foundation for the Arts.
Jeff brings more than 20 years of experience working in support of the creative and cultural industries in Alberta, and across Canada. Most recently, Jeff was the Executive Director and Commissioner of the Cultural Industries Branch within Alberta Culture and Tourism. There he oversaw the Alberta Media Fund, the Jubilee Auditoria, and the commission services for the film and television, music, digital media and publishing industries in Alberta. Jeff previously worked with the Canadian Film and Television Production Association, and the Banff Television Foundation.
As Executive Director of the Arts Branch, Jeff will work alongside the AFA Board of Directors towards the Foundation’s mandate and mission, and will oversee film classification in Alberta.
Jeff begins his duties as Executive Director on June 5, 2017
