New Program Director at Grunt

Vanessa Kwan

Vanessa Kwan will become program director at the grunt gallery in Vancouver, effective June 5. 

Kwan has worked with grunt over the last five years as curator, with an emphasis on community engagement, strategic planning and international outreach.

Gleen Alteen, the outgoing program director, said Kwan’s background aligns well with grunt’s mandate and history. 

Kwan, an artist, has worked previously for the Powell Street Festival, Access Gallery, the Vancouver Queer Film Festival and the Vancouver Art Gallery.
