Christine Sinclair Community Centre
A new fine arts studio has opened in the Christine Sinclair Community Centre in Burnaby, British Columbia.
Operated by the Shadbolt Centre for the Arts, the new studio is dedicated to visual arts and ceramics classes, and includes a kiln for ceramics, plus specialized visual arts equipment for the community.
Programming in the new space will begin in October; registration will open Aug. 13 for Burnaby residents and Aug. 16 for all others.
The Shadbolt Centre is an award-winning community arts facility named after renowned Canadian painter Jack Shadbolt and his wife Doris Shadbolt, who was a curator, author and art educator. ■
