Nigel Prince Leaves Vancouver's Contemporary Art Gallery
Nigel Prince is leaving his position as executive director of Vancouver's Contemporary Art Gallery after almost nine years.
He will start as director of Artes Mundi International Visual Arts Exhibition and Prize in Britain in September.
Prince, who has overseen a period of growth and strategic repositioning at the gallery, said he was hired to implement a strong creative vision and propel the institution onto a global platform.
"I know I leave with CAG in robust health throughout its operations, finances, programming and presence in the city and beyond, as well as beginning along the way towards its exciting next chapter," he said.
Established in 1971, the Contemporary Art Gallery is a free public art gallery dedicated exclusively to contemporary art.
