Nuit Blanche Saskatoon takes place Sept. 25. The one-night festival starts at 7 p.m. and lasts until midnight, with free arts experiences for all ages scattered throughout downtown.
Nuit Blanche, or white night, originated in Paris in 2002 and quickly spread to cities around the world.
This year, Nuit Blanche Saskatoon features projections, sculptural installations, performance, music, theatre and other art. Check out one of the festival's routes, like the emerging artist route or the food route, here.
Events include a laser show at the Broadway Theatre, digital projections of jackrabbits and owls by Victoria Bridge, and an augmented reality experience at the Roxy Theatre.
One of the contemporary art installations on display is Dispersia, by Saskatoon artist Lindsey Rewuski. Find it in Art Placement's front window.
