Open Space Appoints Elder in Residence
Open Space, an artist-run centre in Victoria, has named Namgis artist and elder Gerry Ambers as elder in residence and Victoria artist Doug Jarvis as guest curator.
Ambers, from Alert Bay, B.C., studied Northwest Coast design with Doug Cranmer and earned a BFA at the University of Victoria.
Jarvis has served previously as guest curator.
