The Canada Council for the Arts is seeking participants for a pilot study on the arts and well-being.
The study uses a new mobile app launched by Statistics Canada to gather data that will lead to a better understanding of the impact of cultural participation on well-being at a time when the pandemic is causing many people to struggle with their mental health.
The Vitali-T-Stat app asks participants in-the-moment questions about their daily activities and feelings.
"The information gathered through the app will provide a picture of the impact of arts and cultural activities on the everyday well-being of Canadians," the council says.
Anyone over 15 can participate. The study runs until March 31.
