Patricia Piccinini, "Kindred," 2017.
Patricia Piccinini’s Curious Imaginings, an immersive sculpture exhibition, is coming to Vancouver this fall as part of the Vancouver Biennale.
The work by the renowned Australian artist will be displayed inside the old Patricia Hotel from Sept. 14 to Dec. 15.
The oddly captivating, somewhat grotesque, human-animal hybrids challenge viewers to consider the social impacts of emerging biotechnology.
Limited early bird tickets are available until Sept. 13 at the reduced rate of $14 for adults, $11 for students and seniors, and $35 for a family of four at imcurious.ca and Eventbrite.
