Plug In ICA Presents Prairie Art Book Fair
The Plug In Institute of Contemporary Art launches the inaugural Prairie Art Book Fair in Winnipeg from Sept. 7 to Sept. 9.
The event will showcase 29 exhibitors and present numerous events, including a collaborative hole-punch drawing with Winnipeg born artist Micah Lexier and a talk connecting DIY tattooing and artist multiples by Maxine Proctor, the co-founder of the Toronto Art Book Fair and the managing editor of BlackFlash Magazine.
As well, Jeff Khonsary, a co-founder of Fillip, will talk about alternative book fair models.
The fair highlights a wide range of publications from zines and catalogues to fiction and poetry.
