Salt Spring Island Celebrates Ceramic Arts
The Salt Spring Island Potters Guild presents its second biennial ceramic arts exhibition and prize, expanded this year to include artists from across British Columbia.
A three-member jury of ceramic arts professionals has selected 62 works by 37 artists. The work ranges from from functional ceramics to innovative sculptures.
The opening gala is at Mahon Hall on Salt Spring Island on Oct. 4. Awards will be announced Oct. 13. Prize money totals $7,750.
