Sara Knelman to Head Prince George Gallery
The Two Rivers Gallery in Prince George, B.C., has hired Sara Knelman as its new executive director.
Knelman brings international experience in arts and cultural management, curatorial practice and post-graduate teaching in art history, museology and the history of photography.
She has served as the director of the Corkin Gallery in Toronto since 2018, and previously worked as the talks programmer at The Photographers’ Gallery in London and as curator of contemporary art at the Art Gallery of Hamilton.
She has taught at the Courtauld Institute of Art in London, Ryerson University in Toronto, and the University of Toronto, while her writing about contemporary art and photography has appeared in books, exhibition catalogues and magazines.
She holds a PhD and MA from the Courtauld Institute and a BA from McGill University in Montreal.
