The Vancouver Art Gallery presents Shuvinai Ashoona: Mapping Worlds from Feb. 22 to May 24.
It features 36 works on paper made over the last two decades by Ashoona, a celebrated Inuk artist.
She is known for highly personal and imaginative iconography that combines earthly and extraterrestrial realms.
The show is organized and circulated by the Power Plant Contemporary Art Gallery in Toronto and is curated by Nancy Campbell, with assistance from Justine Kohleal, assistant curator at the Power Plant.
