The BC Achievement Foundation has announced six recipients of the Fulmer Award in First Nations Art.
The recipients, chosen by an independent jury, are Haida artists Jaalen Edenshaw and Nathan Wilson: Kwakwaka'wakw artists Cole Speck and Lou-ann Neil; Haisla artist Nathan Wilson; and Nuxalk/Nuu-chah-nulth artist Kelly Robinson.
The foundation's chair, Anne Giardini, said the artists join 80 others honoured over the last 14 years.
The Fulmer Award in First Nations Art is supported by the Vancouver-based Fulmer Foundation.
BC Achievement is an independent foundation established in 2003 to celebrate community service, arts, humanities and enterprise.
