Sonia Claire de Grandmaison, who worked as an art broker, died June 9 in Seattle, where she had lived for the last 20 years.
The daughter of the portrait artist Nicholas de Grandmaison and his wife, Sophia, Sonia spent her formative years in Banff. As a young woman, she married Bela Szabados and moved to Regina.
She relocated to Seattle after marrying her second husband, Ted Edwards, who predeceased her in 2018.
