Terri Fidelak to Lead Art Gallery of Swift Current

Terri Fidelak

Terri Fidelak is the new director of the Art Gallery of Swift Current in Saskatchewan.

Fidelak, who takes up the post in February, is an artist and writer who most recently worked for CARFAC Saskatchewan as program and outreach director, developing new programs to mentor artists and writers.

She has led various community art initiatives and served as a board member with Neutral Ground, an artist run centre in Regina.

Her art practice in sculpture, drawing, social practice and performance explores themes of attention, value and interconnectivity.

Fidelak's work is in the permanent collection of SK Arts, a provincial funding agency, as well as private collections in Canada, Japan and the United States.
