Winner of the $1000 People"s Choice prize at the exhibition at the Firehall Theatre in Gananoque, ON is Leslie Watts for her portrait, The Bookseller.

At the same time, The Kingston Prize provided an exemplary educational program through a grant from Ontario150. Six classes of students from grades 4 to 8 participated. They all voted in the $250 Student's Choice Prize. And the winner was Keita Morimoto for his portrait Aristocrats.
