Gallery Marks Death of Former Director Todd Davis

Artist, curator and arts administrator Todd Davis, the former executive director of Open Space, an artist-run centre in Victoria, has died.
Open Space, where Todd was director from 1998 to 2005, announced on its website that Todd died July 31 at his home in Oak Bay.
"Todd was a generous and impassioned artist, curator, administrator, mentor and friend," said Open Space. "He was an important member of the Victoria and Vancouver art communities and he will be dearly missed."
A celebration of his life is planned for 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. on Aug. 18 at Open Space, along with a Zoom call for people from other cities.
