five refinished cars, cedar tree, metal column, solar panel and lights, 33' x 17' x 6.5'
A popular outdoor sculpture in Vancouver, Trans Am Totem, by Marcus Bowcott, is now a permanent part of the city’s public art collection.
It took a donation of $250,000 from Chip and Shannon Wilson to permanently park this public art installation of five cars atop a 150-year-old cedar trunk in its current location.
The sculpture, originally commissioned by the Vancouver Biennale, is located in a traffic median along Quebec Street, near Science World.
