Vancouver Art Gallery Announces Mandarin Lecture Series

Zheng Shengtian, adjunct director of Institute for Asian Art, Vancouver Art Gallery

The Vancouver Art Gallery’s Institute of Asian Art has launched a Mandarin-language series of art lectures.

To kick off the series, Zheng Shengtian, adjunct director of the institute, spoke about the history of presenting and collecting art from Asia, while providing larger context for art encounters between Asia and Vancouver from the 1980s to the present.
