Vernon Public Art Gallery Breaks Fundraising Record

The Vernon Public Art Gallery raised a record $80,000 during its 38th annual fundraiser, Midsummer's Eve of the Arts. The fundraiser, which took place July 17, included auctions of more than 60 works donated by regional artists, as well as gifts from BC businesses. 

Money raised will go towards VPAG exhibitions and other programming initiatives. 

The VPAG has two shows opening this week: Glenn Clark's Descent Into Classicism and Lana Schuster's Inside Out. The shows open July 25 and run through Sept. 17.
