West End Gallery to turn 40 in a new home

On April 18, 2015, the West End Gallery will be be celebrating 40 years in Edmonton, 35 at their current location.

Coincidentally, their building has been sold to a company from Toronto with plans to demolish the site to make room for a new development including apartment towers and retail space.

The new home of the West End Gallery will be in Princeton Place, a professional building located on 124th Street in the heart of the Gallery Walk district. This building has an open floor plan with a modern feel, perfect for a gallery. They will also enjoy an extra few hundred square feet of space, thus becoming one of the largest commercial galleries in Edmonton.

The grand opening is set for April 18,to coincide with their fortieth anniversary celebration.
