Art Vancouver Opens April 19
Art Vancouver returns to the Vancouver Convention Centre this year for the fourth time, running from April 19 to April 22.
Artists and galleries from across Canada and around the world exhibit at the event. Last year, it included some 90 exhibitors and was attended by more than 7,000 people. It also includes artist demonstrations, workshops, speakers and panel discussions, as well as dance and vocal performances.
Inspired by international fairs such as Art Basel, Art Vancouver aims to support the city's arts community by allowing local artists to display their work and connect with collectors and other creative professionals.
