Western Front Appoints Executive Director

Susan Gibb

Susan Gibb has been appointed as executive director of Western Front, an artist-run centre in Vancouver.

Gibb brings broad international experience and expertise in multidisciplinary artistic practice to the job.

She spent six years as curator at If I Can’t Dance, I Don’t Want To Be Part Of Your Revolution, a curatorial production house for performance-related art and research in Amsterdam.

Previously, she ran Society, an independent curatorial initiative, and held curatorial positions at  Carriageworks and the Campbelltown Arts Centre in Sydney.

She replaces Caitlin Jones, now executive director of BC Artscape, a Vancouver-based non-profit urban development organization.
