Art Toronto – Canada’s largest art fair – returns in-person and online on Oct. 29 with participation by more than 60 galleries from across Canada.
Many Western galleries have opted for in-person booths at the festival, which runs at the Metro Toronto Convention Centre from Oct. 29 to Oct. 31. All booths will remain available online from Oct. 29 to Nov. 7.
The fair, usually a bustling place, will feature some pandemic precautions, including wider aisles and more open space around site-specific installations. As well, a series of panel discussions will take place only online. The opening night benefit for the Art Gallery of Ontario will not be held this year.
Vancouver's Monica Reyes gallery is exhibiting recent Salt Spring National Art Prize winner Kriss Munsya’s work, among other artists including Annie Briard and Bernadette Phan.
