Zainub Verjee is a senior fellow of Massey College at the University of Toronto, a fellow at McLaughlin College at York University, and a laureate of the 2020 Governor General's Award in Visual and Media Arts for Outstanding Contribution. She has held leadership positions in the arts, culture and heritage sector and is currently the executive director of Galeries Ontario Galleries, the voice of the visual arts in Canada.
